"It is planned to install 13 modern automatic hydrological stations on the rivers of Karabakh".
Umayra Taghiyeva, the Director of the National Hydrometeorological Department of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, stated this in an interview with "Real TV".
She noted that three of the stations would be located on Tartar river: "The rest will be installed on Hachinchai, Gargarchai, Levchai, Kondelanchai, Zabukhchai, Gargarchai, Bargushadchai, Ohchuchai, Basitchai and Araz rivers".
According to Taghiyeva, the restoration works would provide accurate information on all branches of the economy in the requested format and in accordance with modern requirements.
The head of the service also recalled that before the occupation, there was a 100-year-old observation network consisting of 17 points in Karabakh: "I shall note that Karabakh has a dense river network. These rivers are of great importance for the agro-industrial complex of Karabakh and other regions of the country."
